Day 1: Arrival into Nairobi
Once you arrive at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you’ll be warmly received by HTT Operations Manager, who will give you a short brief of your safari.
You will then be transferred by private vehicle to Movenpick Hotel located in the heart of Westlands, Nairobi's commercial, retail and entertainment suburb about 20 kilometers from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Depending on when you arrive, you may have time to explore the city and its attractions.
Day 2: Samburu National Reserve
Wake up for a buffet breakfast at Movenpick Hotel before departing for Samburu National Reserve, where you'll arrive at Samburu Simba Lodge for check in and lunch.
Samburu National Reserve is rich in wildlife with famous Samburu special five species such as the Grevy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx. Lion, leopard and cheetah are also quite easy to spot, thanks to the sparse grass cover. The reserve is also home to large herds of elephants, and over 450 bird species.
In the evening, depart for game drive in this amazing game reserve. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Enjoy Full Day in Samburu National Reserve
Wake up for a refreshing hot cup of coffee or tea. Then depart for a morning game drive to explore the Samburu National Reserve and its intriguing wildlife. Return to the lodge for a full buffet breakfast and spend the morning at your own leisure.
OR HAVE A FULL DAY GAME DRIVE TODAY IN THE RESERVE WITH PICNIC LUNCH BOXES.
Enjoy a scintillating buffet lunch at the lodge. Afternoon spent at leisure. You can relax by the swimming pool or you can also visit an authentic Samburu village during your game drive at extra costs. Later, depart for an evening game drive.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: from Samburu to the Lush Forest of Aberdares
After breakfast, you'll depart Samburu for the lush Aberdares National Park. You'll have a sumptuous lunch at Aberdares Country Club; the base hotel for the Ark. Get transferred to The Ark in the afternoon.
Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, iconic and yes, quirky. The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Modelled after Noah's Ark, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you!
Dinner and then overnight at The Ark.
Day 5: Enjoy the Scenic Views of Lake Naivasha
Enjoy a sumptuous buffet breakfast at the lodge and head to Aberdares Country Club to pick the left luggage. Thereafter, depart for Lake Naivasha. You’ll arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Spend your afternoon at leisure.
Lake Naivasha is a serene freshwater lake and a superb oasis for wildlife, birds and plants.
A highlight of a visit here is a boating excursion around the lake or visit to the nearby Crescent Island. Some other exciting activities include nature walks, horseback riding, flower farm trips, community visits. You can also opt for day excursions to Hell's Gate.
Dinner and then overnight at the lodge.
Day 6: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Buffet breakfast at Lake Naivasha Simba lodge, and then depart for Maasai Mara.
Masai Mara National Reserve is well known as the “Jewel of Kenya. On your way to your lodge in Maasai Mara, you will enroute game drive. The different array of views which are just priceless. Arrive in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, you'll go on your first game drive. Return to the lodge for leisure before going for the evening game drive.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Full Day in Maasai Mara
Wake up for a refreshing hot cup of coffee or tea. Then depart for a morning game drive to explore the Mara plains and its intriguing wildlife.

You can opt for a Hot Air Balloon Safari instead of a morning game drive. This is truly a fun and exciting way to see Africa’s landscapes and wildlife.
OR HAVE A FULL DAY GAME DRIVE TODAY IN THE RESERVE WITH PICNIC LUNCH BOXES.
Return to the lodge for a full buffet breakfast and spend the morning at your own leisure.
Enjoy a scintillating buffet lunch at the lodge. Afternoon spent at leisure. You can relax by the swimming pool or you can also visit an authentic Maasai village during your game drive at extra costs.
Depart for an evening game drive. Return to the lodge later for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: from Maasai Mara to Nairobi and Onward
This is your last day of safari. You'll wake up for a buffet breakfast before departing for Nairobi city - arrival by lunchtime. Lunch on own arrangement before drop off at JKIA Airport for your home bound flight.
