The Laikipia plains are covered by open grasslands, lonely kopjes and dense cedar forests, which are fed by the Ewaso Narok and Ewaso Nyiro rivers. Laikipia is a getaway to the Northern Kenya frontier and is regarded as one of the greatest wildlife conservation stories.
