Day 1: Entebbe – Kisoro
Arrive Entebbe and check in for your 07.45 scheduled Aerolink flight to Kisoro Airstrip. Arrival Kisoro Airstrip at 08.45 am you will be met by a representative from Mount Gahinga Lodge who will transfer you to the Lodge.
Nestled at the base of the Virunga Volcanoes, Mount Gahinga Lodge is a stunning luxury adventure lodge hidden in the southern corner of Uganda. Its rustic charm is inspired by traditional design and building techniques.
Gahinga Lodge is the perfect base to go gorilla tracking, track the rare golden monkey, climb a volcano, walk through local villages and most of all to share the culture of the Batwa pygmies, the oldest inhabitants of the Central African rain forest. The lodge with its beautiful living room, sun room and terrace has fantastic views of the volcanoes and the Kisoro valley below.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Nyakagezi
Enter the forest at dawn and enjoy the beauty and freshness of the forest, home to more than half of the world’s mountain gorillas. After a short briefing by the guides, proceed through the dense bush to trek for these endangered animals depending on where they built their nest the previous night.
For conservation purposes, time allowed with the Gorillas is 1 hour. Observe the gentle giants as they feed and play. Overnight stay at Mount Gahinga Lodge.
Day 3: Kisoro – Buhoma
At your leisure transfer to Nkuringo where you will find your guide for a walk to Buhoma via Ivy River Trail across Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, check in at Bwindi Lodge.
Overlooking the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge offers a truly unique Uganda jungle safari experience. Separated by nothing more than an idyllic stream, the gorillas themselves are frequent visitors to the finest lodge in Bwindi! The lodge boasts eight bandas facing the forest canopy, each with a private terrace from which you can spot wildlife, including chimpanzees, mountain gorillas, and monkeys jumping from tree to tree mere metres away.
Each room has en-suite bathrooms and the eco-luxury comforts are all provided in eco-sensitive ways. A cosy fireside bar and lounge in the main building offers the chance for you to relax while sharing stories of your gorilla tracking experience with other guests.
Day 4: Gorilla Tracking
Another day to Experience Gorillas in another region, in the morning you will be driven to starting point for a short briefing by the guides, proceed through the dense bush to trek for these endangered animals depending on where they built their nest the previous night.

Day 5: Buhoma – Kihihi - Entebbe
Morning after breakfast transfer to Kihihi Airstrip to check in for your flight back to Entebbe departing 0945 arriving Entebbe International Airport at 1125 connect to your international flight out of Entebbe.
